Crystalline Agate Moon Necklace

One copper electroformed Crystalline Agate Moon on a 20" soldered copper chain.

Agates come from the Quartz family and refer to different varieties of Chalcedony stones. The stone was given its name by Theophrastus, a Greek philosopher and naturalist, who discovered the stone along the shore line of the river Achates sometime between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. Agates are known for their offerings of fortune and luck.

Moons measure approximately 1.5" x 1.0".
