Maya Jones Clothing
In the historic Mayan market town of Chichicastenango, we met local vendors and
families that had been living in that vibrant community for countless generations.
Steve and I were honored to find ourselves drawn into one family in particular, our
life long friends and compadres Diego and Tomasa. You can see us with our daughter,
Tomasa's parents and our goddaughter in the photo.
Together, we created and manufactured a successful line of clothing from handwoven,
traditional and garment-dyed cotton fabrics.
And all these years later here we are, still working together... as family.
